《对话》借鉴了中国传统水墨画风格，采用了国画大师韩羽先生简练而幽默的京剧戏曲造型，象征性表达，演绎中国人心目中耳熟能详的传统戏剧印象。作品配乐也是运用了传统古曲《广陵散》的一部分。《对话》是一部实验动画短片，片长2分钟，作者试图通过此片在动画片题材，动画片视觉音乐表达上寻找新意。《对话》意在作者在创作过程中与中国传统思想和优秀文化间的对话，意在现代人和古人超越空间的对话，意在使观众在短短2分钟时间内与自己固有观念的对话。作品由绘图软件Painter在绘图板上手绘完成。
