其實早在4月初,已有媒體率先泄漏鄭中基會參演ViuTV這套新劇,直至克日「明報周刊」報道指,本来ViuTV高層盘算邀請鄭中基掌管綜藝節目「＃辣伙頭」,但Ronald講到明,必定要請到别的兩位「美人廚房」拍檔 —— 方力申跟梁漢文再度合體,否则不做。結果ViuTV考慮到「世紀合體」有如將無綫節目倒模,加上騷錢極高,最終消除念頭,现在鄭中基答應參演新劇,有指是因為他極喜歡單親爸爸的脚色設定以及大玩溫情的劇本,现在落實加盟,亦恰好還ViuTV一個情面。「明周」報道中亦指,本来編劇已邀得「小明」方皓玟擔任女配角,不過事後高層胜利邀得張可頤埋班,女一合約最終落在後者手上。報道又提到,新劇戲份明顯着重鄭中基身上,但張可頤看過劇本後,覺得故事吸引,故不介怀戲份调配。個人認為,就市場賣點跟是否賣錢兩點考慮,始終「小明」在当地樂壇着名度高,但她拍劇的經驗跟叫座力遠遠不迭張可頤,以是選Maggie棄Charmaine乃畸形不過。據懂得,新劇劇名不决,劇中還有強尼!陳俞希!駱振偉!羅沛琪等演員,并且已經開鏡拍攝,惟ViuTV一早命令「不得劇透」,以是所有都要比及蒲月才能够對外颁布。而鄭中基的經理人公司（機動娛樂）拍檔兼經理人「田雞」田啟文接收「蘋果日報」訪問,承認Ronald接拍ViuTV新劇：「部劇開咗機,不過未拍到佢,下月初先拍佢。」談到何故劇組能夠打動Ronald參演,田雞表现：「個故事好啱佢,而製作班底佢又覺得夠認真,以是咪接。」

It's also full of characters that belong to the Spanish idiosyncrasy the strict priest, the Guardia Civil, the old devout women, the village idiot... there's even a lost soul wandering around the woods. The great Alfredo Landa heads a cast that gathered together the best two generations of Spanish scene from Fernando Rey to Encarna Paso, from Manuel Alexandre to María Isbert... A cast like that would be just unthinkable nowadays. El Bosque Animado was the first movie of José Luis Cuerda's trilogy of rural comedies (after this one he made the surreal Amanece Que No Es Poco, and Así En El Cielo Como En La Tierra. Those are movies so personal that stress the Spanish culture. The young directors should take note of films like El Bosque Animado, instead of trying to be the new enfant terrible and imitating US worst cinema.

Lois Ames is devoted to her job as the editor of a magazine, and her wealthy husband Fred is equally dedicated to polo and parties.
