剧情：
如今，一家人每天都聚在一起吃晚饭的家庭已经不多了，而香取家正是其中之一。一家之主香取卓在不动产公司上班。妻子幸子是专业主妇，爱好韩国布艺。大女儿诗织大学四年级，已经找好了工作。二女儿歌织喜欢音乐，和朋友们一起组了个乐队。某天下班回家的路上，卓在车站广场上结识了青年充，便邀他一起回家吃晚饭。充在阪神大地震中失去了家人，为了梦想来到东京打拼，每天只吃便利店的便当充饥。诗织十分同情他的境遇。不久后，充带着豆腐来到香取家，大家围着热腾腾的火锅吃晚饭，看到诗织和充亲密的样子卓非常不高兴。歌织的乐队即将在Live House“MARK2”登台演出，以后没法按时回家了。家族晚餐的惯例亮起了黄色信号。“MARK2”的老板榊认出歌织用的吉它是当年卓的东西。原来卓和榊年轻时是音乐拍档，曾在Live House“Mark1”中演出，大学同学幸子在店里当女招待，成了卓的恋人。歌织第一次知道，原来父母还有这样的故事。两个女儿都不回家吃饭，卓变得烦躁不安。充和歌织决定结婚，卓却顽固地反对。榊邀请香取夫妇来看歌织的首次演出。听着女儿的歌声，两个人回忆起了青春岁月。最终一家人和解了。充和诗织在“Mark2”举行了婚礼。卓唱起吉田拓郎的名曲《结婚吧》，留下了激动的热泪……
