A couple of Australians introduce three American backpackers to the local legend of Lemon Tree Passage where a ghost of a motorcyclist warns young drivers to slow down. After seeing the ghost first hand they uncover a malevolent force that posses the area and threatens to wreak havoc on the final days of their vacation. Isolated and ten thousand miles from home, the tourists find themselves caught in the clutches of an evil force much more heinous than the local myth believed.

The camera recorded the couple's inner experiences, contrasting their muted intimacy against the surrounding scenery of a ruined town. The film did not win over critics at the time of its release. It was not until later that critics recognized Kutz's effort to experiment with aesthetics in a manner akin to that pursued by filmmakers of the new wave. NOBODY'S CALLING came to be compared with Michelangelo Antonioni's THE ADVENTURE, which was produced around the same time.

故事梗概：狮头镇有着悠长的舞狮传统。时逢狮头镇亢旱成灾,镇上住平易近因唯一的水井被恶霸赵天罡据为己有,而不得不舍本逐末,去二十里以外的处所担水。机警灵巧却淘气调皮的阿牛跟狗子由于偷偷舞狮被父亲罚去担水时,不谋而合地盯上了恶霸赵天罡家的“私有财富”。但是,水没打下去,却为此几乎导致一场杀身之祸。阿牛跟狗子受到赵天罡的儿子赵星以及弱智的表哥大壮的一番毒打。“善人先起诉”的赵家以赵星跟大壮挂花为由,带着仆人找上门来请求抵偿。实在,赵天罡索要抵偿是假,真正的目标是想今后占有由阿牛父代为保存的!代表声誉的狮头。想到生抢硬夺有掉脸面,遂提出以舞狮竞赛的情势决议狮头的归属。阿牛跟狗子对舞狮竞赛并不太在意,却是认为今后不必每天跑二十多少里路去担水,能够尽着兴地“玩狮子”。练习停止后,舞狮竞赛正式开端。赵天罡提出一个哭笑不得的请求：大壮虽已成人,但智商低下的大壮应以孩子的身份加入竞赛。在健如牛犊的大壮跟赵星眼前,阿牛父花操血汗调教出来的阿牛跟狗子非但摧枯拉朽,还落得个头破血流的了局。此时的阿牛父才晓得,为了这场竞赛,赵天罡请了一个叫“万老迈”的技击妙手。看着被赵家打得疼痛嗟叹的两个孩子,阿牛姊姊包子铺里的老白犹豫地留了上去。老白用本人制造的创伤药偷偷治疗好阿牛跟狗子,做通阿牛父的任务,让两个孩子跟赵家再比试一场。直到此时,狗子姐跟阿牛父才惊奇地发明,缄默寡言的老白本来是个深藏不露的武林妙手。阿牛父收回的挑衅,掉掉落赵天罡的呼应。但赵天罡提出的请求是,得胜一方不只要代表本镇加入全县舞狮大赛,还将是狗子家包子铺的主人。一个月从前了。在老白教诲下的阿牛跟狗子在竞赛中遭受赵家险象环生的暗害。但是,此时的阿牛跟狗子决非一个月前能够相比。在阿牛跟狗子克服“武装到牙齿”的赵星跟大壮时,老白也偷偷救出了被赵天罡绑走的阿牛父。竞赛停止,阿牛跟狗子从新夺回了代表声誉的狮头跟属于镇上住平易近独特占有的水井。跟“万老迈”懂得自我恩仇的老白,活着人的喝彩声中,今后悄悄分开了狮头镇。出色视点：本片是一部儿童题材的时装举措片。影片故事艰深易懂,节拍明快流利,人物鲜活各别。导演用相称的篇幅出现两个少年练功的情况,以及大有“狮王争霸”之风的舞狮竞赛局面,增长了影片的欣赏性。导演聂军此前始终努力于电视剧创作。2003年执导的30集电视剧「群英会」,2004年担负举措导演的「李卫当官」!「新铡美案」,都为聂军转型大荧幕从事数字片子创作做了深挚的积聚跟铺垫。本片中,除了两个小演员童心未泯无邪可憎以外,其余多少位演员均来自台湾。“老白”的扮演者高捷曾主演片子「顺流逆流」,「玉轮之子」,「悲情都会」,「尼罗河女儿」,「再会北国,再会」；而“赵天罡”的扮演者许效舜是台湾有名掌管人。2008年 3月15日 11 - 55 - CCYV-6播出
