CBS宣告正式续订新笑剧#少年谢尔顿##Young Sheldon#第二季。

CBS在新笑剧上表示有力下把歪头脑动到「生涯大爆炸 The Big Bang Theory」的Sheldon身上,早前他们宣告开辟「生涯大爆炸」衍生前传剧,現CBS肯定预制定名为「小谢尔顿 Young Sheldon」的衍生剧,望文生义就是以Sheldon Cooper 为配角。该剧定于17-18年度播出。 　　这部笑剧配角不是Sheldon成年版,而是以他9岁时为配景,剧集也会以「马尔柯姆的一家 Malcolm in the Middle」的单镜头家庭笑剧方法制造,报告Sheldon昔时在德州东部的家庭及黉舍生涯。Chuck Lorre与Bill Prady为主创兼履行制片﹑Steve Molaro﹑Todd Spiewak与在「生涯大爆炸」扮演Sheldon的Jim Parsons为制造人兼履行制片。 　　在过往剧情中,可得悉Sheldon的家人包含欧巴George﹑异卵双胞胎姊妹Missy﹑有宗教信奉的妈妈Mary Cooper,以及酗酒的爸爸George Cooper。别的Sheldon另有外婆（Meemaw）及外公（Pop Pop）,外公在Sheldon 5岁时逝世。 　　该剧由Jon Favreau执导, Iain Armitage将扮演年青版的Sheldon Cooper﹑ Zoe Perry扮演其母亲Mary Cooper﹑Lance Barber扮演Sheldon的父亲﹑Raegan Revord及Montana Jordan扮演Sheldon的兄妹（姐！）﹑Annie Potts扮演外婆。
