CBS警匪题材剧《Flashpoint》故事的主角是一只隶属加拿大首都多伦多警察的特种部队，这只部队的名字叫做战略反应小队(StrategicResponseUnit)，简称SRU。SRU的角色原型来自于多伦多的一只真的紧急任务反应小队(EmergencyTaskForce)。SRU的成员都不是一般的警察，他们有能力做一些普通警察所不能做的事情，包括：“拯救人质，打击黑帮，拆除炸弹，操作尖端武器，”他们将永远冒着生命危险去拯救别人的生命。他们往往会采用任何手段在非常短的时间内解决问题拯救生命。
剧情：
在太古的时期,宇宙中存在着分离代表光亮与暗中的两个文化,正如光与影永久是互相抵触的,两个文化也终年处于战役之中,代表暗中的文化为了获得成功,就制作了一种高科技的战舰,这种战舰占有超强的作战才能及穿梭时空的才能,并且,还占有本人的思惟。但是,这种战舰却会把驾驶者作为本人的粮食,以此来加强本人的气力。这种玄色的战舰就像妖怪一样,会把朋友彻底消灭,但同时也会吞噬驾驶员的性命。而在统一时光,为了反抗朋友的玄色战舰,代表光亮的文化也发明白一艘白色战舰与玄色战舰对抗。厥后,两个文化都起因不明地消逝了,而那些战舰却仍然存在在宇宙的某个角落里,新时期的工资他们起了个名字——丧掉之舰（LostShips）故事发生的天下,是设定为Slayers中所称的“异天下”。故事重心环绕在“丧掉之舰——飞天一号”上。而统治这个天下的魔王恰是在中被消灭的异界魔王——暗中之星。由于将精力力变更为能量的“精力物理学”的兴旺,发生了超出光速技巧的悠远将来。主人公凯恩在这个天下里处理着发生的种种百般的事变,这种任务称之为“TROUBLECONTRACTOR”(费事闭幕者,简称T.C）。凯恩（kane）的搭档是加娜（Canal）,名义上是人类,现实上是飞天一号的主电脑的破体投射映像。性情很恐怖的,凯恩（kane）由于惹她朝气而被扔出宇宙船（在宇宙中啊……性命啊）作为抨击。另一个搭档是想成为“宇宙第一”的米丽（米Mill）,本来米丽（mill）是个侦察,由于凯恩（kane）的关联被辞退,也成为了T.C。米丽（mill）的枪法跟操持都异常好……就是操持的时间厨房会遭殃……
